MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience

The MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience is back!  After 7 Events over the last 5 months we are ready for the finals taking place at Canal Walk in September.

This year’s edition raises the stakes with the return of the EAFC 25™ National Football Tournament and the debut of the MTN Beat Saber Challenge – two national titles, one massive celebration of gaming culture.

The MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience is hosted by Hyprop, in partnership with MTN, Computer Mania, PC Builder,  Carry1st and The Toyota Gaming Engine. All Tournaments and gaming are operated by ACGL.  

Various titles will be available on gaming stations for shoppers to play at their own leisure and with spot prizes for selected achievements. These include:

- Beat Saber
- Rocket League
​- Brawlhalla
- Tekken
- Street Fighter
- Minecraft
- Fortnite - No under 13's. 13 to 16-year-olds need parental consent to participate
- EAFC 25
- GT7
- MTN CloudPlay
- Flight Simulator and much more    

The tournament, cup and activation titles are available for free play during times when tournaments, cups and activations are not taking place.

Our epic Call of Duty MWIII tournament, has finalists competing for their share of R60 000!
Single elimination qualifiers took place during July and August, with the winning team from each qualifier competing in finals on the 13th and 14th September at Canal Walk.
