In case you haven’t heard, Pantone announced the 2017 colour of this year as Greenery.
Pantone is pretty much the colour authority and can singlehandedly influence store merchandising and how we shop throughout the entire year. In case you haven’t heard, Pantone announced the 2017 colour of this year as Greenery. Greenery is described as a “fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew.”
From a fashion perspective a handful of designers like Michael Kors, Max Mara, and Mary Katrantzou had the foresight to thread the Greenery shade (a cross between lime and peridot) throughout their spring 2017 collections and these silhouettes have filtered down into mainstream fashion stores and are on their way to you for winter.
So that’s all great, but how do you introduce this trend into your wardrobe? Have no fear, we’re here to help you take this trend from the runway straight into your wardrobe… but in the words of Kermit the Frog, “It ain’t easy being green”, so we recommend starting small (with accessories) and working up to the yellow-green shade once you’re sure your complexion can handle it.
Here’s how to incorporate this colour into your fashion and beauty wardrobe with relative ease…

2. GET YOUR NAILS DID
