We’ve teamed up with Maxine Schuiling from @sugarfreesundays and Tracey-Lee Lusty from @fitnessgirl_za, to show you how to be Healthy at Home! Maxine has created two simple breakfast recipes to make sure you kick off your day with a healthy start, including overnight oats and an easy on-the-go smoothie. These recipes can be easily tweaked for various dietary requirements, for example rather using gluten-free oats or make it vegan by switching out honey for another sweetener option. Tracey-Lee is currently on an inspiring self-love and self-discovery fitness journey and has put together an easy and compact workout, for you to do anytime in the comfort of your home.

Overnight Oats

This dish is balanced and provides a wholesome filling breakfast. It is quick, easy and you can leave it in the fridge overnight after preparing it the night before. In the morning, top it with your favourite ingredients and you’re ready for the day ahead.

Smoothies are great fresh breakfasts, quick to prepare and easy to drink when you do not have loads of time – traffic has never tasted this good! This smoothie will give you nourishing sustenance throughout the morning.

Full Body Workout

This workout is conducive to a busy schedule and offers flexible convenience at home. It’s a quick 30-minute full body workout, focusing on your upper body, lower body and abs. The best thing is that each exercise can be adapted to be made more challenging, by making the movement more dynamic or increasing your weights.

I really love the fact that it's not a thin super fit athletic woman doing the exercise video. I really admire Tracey-Lee Lust doing this and I think she is amazing and perfect. I think this is very inspiring to so many people out there, not just those entering the competition.
