A star on the South African music scene, Chad has graced stages in big cities locally and around the world including, of course, right here Cape Town. This singer, songwriter and recording artist has created his very own R&B/Pop sound, and we just love Chad’s signature soulful sound.



He has been in the music industry for over a decade and shows no signs of slowing down. In this time, he has had over 40 songs playlisted on radio, as well as many live performance highlights including performing alongside Brian McKnight for his 2015 national tour.

Chad graduated from the University of the Western Cape with a BA degree in English Literature and Communications. He is a passionate collaborator, talented performer and prolific songwriter who has penned radio singles for some of South Africa’s biggest artists.

In October 2017, Chad released his new five-track EP, Future Forever. Dedicated to his late grandmother, it continues to deliver songs that impress. Future Forever abounds with the themes of positivity, self-improvement, legacy and love.

Chad’s 2009 debut album, Chasing Melodies, produced three hit singles and was SAMA nominated for Best English Pop Album. He followed this with The Flight, which also produced chart-topping singles.

His third offering, Cinema, in 2014, was his first release since the tragic botched hijacking in 2011 in which he was brutally shot and faced the harsh possibility of never being able to sing and perform again.

Chad not only recovered, but he has also risen above the entire situation as a victor and has gone on to create some of the best work of his career.
